• Question: Bob Iger tells you (or the other eds) unequivocally that you can't have Slave Leia in any of the comics, despite a writer at Marvel having a great idea of how to use it. What do you do? - Anonymous

We don’t do it, simple as that. And in this example, it doesn’t even take Bob Iger, it’s our contacts over at Lucasfilm who would be enough to prevent something like this.

If we had a truly brilliant idea, then we’d present it to them, but with the expectation that it would be turned down. They will have a reason for why they make the creative choices they make, just as we do, and the STAR WARS characters and universe is theirs, not ours. That’s got to be respected.

so the ban on Slave Leia is a fact? I thought it was just rumour …
